A modern moroccan styled shoot

Hi there lovelies,

Today we’re beyond excited to be sharing some stunning images from a recent shoot we put together with the super talented Philippa Sian Photography. Styled shoots like this allow suppliers to get together and go all out creatively, putting together themes and looks that (we hope) will get you drooling and fire up your imagination. They’re brilliant Pinterest fodder for when you’re planning your wedding and the looks you’re after, and for suppliers like us they’re great fun as well. Often, wedding creatives will have a fabulous idea for a look they want to achieve, but will need to find a dream team to pull it all together. That’s where we come in! Our supplier matching services can be put to work on editorial shoots as well as beautiful weddings. There are some seriously talented people out there in wedding world, and we want to showcase their talents and get them on your radar, so watch this space for more styled shoot action!

Put some wanderlust into your wedding decor

It’s that time of year where people seem to be constantly about to jet off somewhere exotic, or else just back from an incredible adventure. In my *whispers* day job, I work for a leading travel brand, so the feeling of dreamy wanderlust is something I’m something of a pro at!

I’m also of the strong opinion that marriage is a pretty big adventure, and so it makes perfect sense to me to inject a sense of exploration, travel and adventure into your wedding day. Travel is a fabulously versatile theme, and here are some of our favourite ways to incorporate it.

Let there be light… our favourite twinkly looks

Hi lovelies,

I don’t know about you, but this week is really feeling…January-ish. I’m either too cold outside or too hot-and-itchy-eyed from central heating, and I really miss how festive everything looked a month ago. When Christmas decorations come down, everything always just looks a little sadder – no winking lights from people’s windows as you pass, no gold-garlanded bridges or street lamps. Sigh. Thankfully though, you don’t have to be in the countdown to the holidays for things to get all twinkly at your wedding. Repeat after me: Fairylights are not just for Christmas!

Perfect Christmas entertaining from Pudding Bridge

Happy Sunday, lovelies. Hope you’re all well. I am bamboozled by how warm it is, and blaming the unseasonal weather on my lack of organisation in the way of Christmas prep. If anyone else is in the same boat, and having that ‘oh my word it’s actually Christmas THIS WEEK and I’ve got people coming and there’s so much to do andandand aaargh’ realisation, then fear not! Help is at hand for you today to make festive entertaining a breeze. Please give a very warm welcome to the first of our fabulous guest posters – the lovely Helen from Pudding Bridge.
